OUR STORY
Here at the Research Institute for Equality in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, we are combining our efforts. Women, ethnic minorities and disabled people are routinely discriminated against in Archaeology and Heritage, but often the solutions are similar: representation, opportunity, support, research and action. Operating as an equalities umbrella organisation we can develop projects with multiple partners for the same aim - Equality.
Our Ethos is that of the Universal Basic Services (instead of a universal basic income, the idea is to level up through access to things you don’t have). This seems a really good model for tackling inequality, You can access more information on UBS here https://www.ucl.ac.uk/bartlett/igp/sites/bartlett/files/universal_basic_services_-_the_institute_for_global_prosperity_.pdf -
