Working together for change
REACH AT A GLANCE
We know that our strength lies in building communities; communities that focus on change. By combining our actions and our initiatives, we believe we can increase the pace of equality in archaeology and cultural heritage.
Working for equity since 2008, British Women Archaeologists' and the RESPECT campaign realised that by working together with fantastic people from our open call, we could overcome the challenges of our field much more efficiently. We decided to launch the Research Institute for Equality in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage in 2021. This new non-profit organisation allows us to expand our work, increasing the impact and traction of our findings. We aim to support a healthy professional and equitable environment, whether you work in a museum, in the field or lab, or are a student or volunteer.
